Chris is garden designer and Artist living in the Cotswolds.

He gets inspiration primarily from his love for climbing and mountaineering, but is constantly image harvesting in everyday life, keeping his eyes open for the beautiful moments created by extraordinary light, which the natural world throws up every now and again.

 

Constantly experimental, he is intrigued by the physics of light and how it is reflected and transmitted through art materials. He also isn’t afraid to use materials from his landscaping experience such as concrete and coloured render, in some of his multimedia works to create extra texture and relief, and isn’t afraid to splash a bit of gold leaf around every now and again.
